The Village Action Council
About
We Are All We Need's Village Action Council (VAC) seeks to drive systemic growth & development for promise & opportunity zones by listening to the youth voice. We fight to create a safe space for community stakeholders and a bridge to policy makers through educating, training and cultivating youth and young adults. Voting participation, advocacy skills, community revitalization and standardizing youth engagement practices are all developed during membership of the council.
Mission
To ensure equity for the underserved, disadvantaged & underrepresented promise zone population.
Vision
To connect, educate and strategize with the community programers, leaders & business owners of promise zone areas to ensure equity by fighting inequality, poverty and influencing policy.
